Neo-Latin

Neo Latin

Simply put, “neo-Latin” is the Latin that developed during or after the Renaissance as a result of renewed interest in classical studies. It is looks like Classical Latin in appearance, but is used differently. Neo-Latin is a way to communicate using Latin grammar and syntax. It allows you to communicate in a more modern sense.

You all probably think I am going to say something weighty and memorable in Latin. Well, I’m not. What I’m going to do is read my laundry list. Here it is. Three pairs of socks, five underwear, two shirts, no starch. There, that’s it. You can applaud now. Have a nice day.

Vos omnes fortasse creditis me aliquid grave ac memorabile Latine dicturum esse. Etenim perlecturus sum vobis catalogum lavandariorum. Hic incipit. Tibialium paria tria, subuncularum quinque, tunicae duae, nullum amylum. Sic, actum est. Mihi plaudere nunc potestis. Die dulci fruimini.
